David Cassese, Managing Partner
Prior to founding Gem Global in 2006, Mr. Cassese worked for Computer Horizons Corp. (CHC), where he started his career, in 1991. While at CHC, Mr. Cassese served as Vice President, National Account Executive, Account Manager and Recruiter. As a strategic, seasoned executive and change leader, Mr. Cassese has spent his career within the staffing & solutions industry. With an emphasis on providing customers true business insight and competitive advantage, Mr. Cassese has created major strategic programs that focus on driving revenue and operational excellence.
Mr. Cassese holds an MBA from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University and a bachelor’s degree in business & finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

John P. Cassese, Managing Partner
Prior to joining Gem Global in the Fall of 2011, Mr. Cassese worked as Vice President within the Global Strategic Contingent Sourcing Organization at Citigroup. Mr. Cassese is a 23 year veteran and seasoned business leader having worked on both the buyer and supplier side within the staffing and solutions industry. Mr. Cassese spent the majority of his career at Computer Horizons Corp. (CHC) where he started in 1988.
Mr. Cassese holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in Business Administration.
