Sydney: New York: London: As part of a management buyout, Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX) Founder Wayne Sharpe has resigned as Director and Chairman of CTX Holdings Pty Ltd (CTXH) and will focus on his role as Chairman and CEO of the previous parent company Global Environmental Markets Limited (GEM).

Associated with the management buyout, CTXH has rebranded to Colonial Bourses and will operate its markets with sales operations in Sydney and New York.

GEM will now use the Carbon Trade eXchange and CTX brands with sales operations in London and Sydney.

For its part, European Environmental Markets has acquired a global licence for operating Carbon Trade Exchange and other electronic exchange platforms.
