It is with great pleasure that Carbon Trade Exchange announces the launch of Gold Standard’s brand new Registry which receives an enthusiastic thumbs up from us at CTX.
Gold Standard’s announcement this week says:
“We are excited about this new registry and hope all our stakeholders find it to be an intuitive and user-friendly experience that gives improved visibility to projects and their impacts. We are committed to continuous improvements in this new system and look forward to your input to enhance functionality and provide additional communications opportunities over time.”
And follows by saying “For those with other holdings under IHS Markit, your Markit account will work as normal, however, your Gold Standard holdings will no longer be listed. For those organisations with only Gold Standard holdings, you will no longer be able to access the IHS Markit Registry and will receive an error message if you try.“

There are approximately 100 Gold Standard projects listed on Carbon Trade Exchange’s global platform – and those clients can be assured that the transition for your listings will be seamless and you need to do nothing at all – other than keep trading.
For our buyside clients who have a Gold Standard registry account – the same applies – just keep trading seamlessly. For those of you who do not have a Gold Standard Registry Account, but would like one, please email us on info@ctxglobal.com.
CTX and our team are now working closely with Gold Standard to improve transaction and listing process times that we were unable to do previously, and if there is a way to reduce fees for clients then you can be assured – we will.
Of course, in order to buy UNFCCC CDM CER offsets, you do NOT need a CDM Registry Account at all – simply a CTX exchange membership. But no matter which of these two global iconic carbon standards you choose, you can be assured you will get the very best prices – as a buyer and seller, on the CTX global platform.
